Why do they follow me everywhere?! [I Need Alone Time]

I am hiding from my family.
I love them, but I need my peace and quiet.
I was trying g to work in the garden.
I went out there to be alone and no sooner did I get the berry rows dug out for watering.. here comes #2. (Second child)
My kids are teens.
They are old enough to not need me every second of the day... but sometimes I wonder!
Needy teenagers are annoying!
They are only being needy because they know I want to be alone.
Time to go back to the “asked and answered “

Good to vent..,

Seems you have a very close family. Lacking time for yourself is temporary.
Enjoy them while their still around.
When they move out you'll surely miss them.

One is graduating this year.
I’m already dreading that day.
I honestly would be happy if they never left.
But just give me some space once in awhile. 🥰🥰
They have visitation with their father.
When they are with him our house is too quiet and I can’t edit for them to come home. 🤣

@Istas Brought my son up to be very independent and haven't heard from him in about 6 yrs..

I was the same in my young adult life. Just enjoying the money I made and life in general so I never contacted my parents either.

That is so foreign to me.
My mom is one of 10, my dad is one of 6. Our family is very close.
I talk to my mom, sister and a few of my cousins daily. ( I have 27 first cousins, just on my mom’s side. I am super close to quite a few of them. We grew up like siblings.)

I call my dad once a week ,
And he calls me during the week.
I talk to my step-kids ( adults ) daily too.

That would be incredibly hard for me to not talk to my family for so long.
I have always been that way.
Plus having a big family, there’s always someone to talk to.

Do you guys text?, or anything?

@Istas Wow that's so cool, your family!

As for my son, his big thing is to get a new phone every couple of years, so I've lost total contact with him, even his e-mail addresses have changed.

Being a single parent brought him up from 18 mo.thru 18yrs.. At the time, No family, no friends, and no money.

I owe it all to God and His guidance, without it I don't think I would have made it as a parent.
