Look for the silver linings…
Last night was awful, my diabetes was unstable and I had a disturbed and emotional night. Thankfully around 4-5am I stabilised and have been ok since.
As awful as last night was I’m overwhelmed by the love and support I have in my life. My brother stayed up all night to make sure I was safe, he did my finger pricks once I’d settled to allow me to stay asleep. My friends were with me throughout the night, dropping whatever was happening in their lives to offer me support and make sure I was ok.
Im so touched. The only thing that matters to me in life are the people in it. I sometimes struggle to let people in but at times like that I can’t do it on my own and need support.
I am forever grateful that I have some of the best people in my life and I know without a doubt that they love me ❤️
