Someone who I've interacted with before, but I am not really friends with made a post that shook me to the core.

I was very hurt by the meaning of it, but I commented on it honestly and from my heart. She replied and it seemed very shallow. An hour or so later, I logged back in and the post no longer existed. In fact, she had erased all of her posts, save one. Changed her profile pic too. To do something like that, in my opinion, was hurtful and the act of a coward. Especially since I had been nothing but respectful and kind to her previously. Some people don't know how to treat others with dignity, and to kick them when they are already down is childish.

Sorry you had that experience. Strikes me that she may have deleted all that stuff because she was embarrassed/sorry about what she posted. In other words, it wasn’t anything about you but about her.
