Finding and accepting myself

[b]Past[/b]
I stare into the mirror and don’t recognize what I see. Lost, broken, and full of fear. I turn away in disgust.

[b]Present[/b]
I turn to the mirror with pleasure and happiness. I kiss my soul with every kind word of the journey travelled to become aknew. I know where I want my pathway to lead. I don’t ask the mirror to save me, as I know inside I can save myself with a loving higher power beside me. I am a guided soul, finding me everyday.

[b]Future[/b]
A wink and a reflection on the past, never forgetting where I came from and accepting of what fate has in store. No more mirror mirror of seeking external acceptance. I am who I am.
