Some people around me really are dumb...

... We have two councils - a Borough council who are responsible for things like taxes and refuse - and a county council who is responsible for pothole repairs.

People keep asking the Borough Council if xyz pothole has been reported yet... when they should know that the Borough won't know anything about that because they have no access to the County's system to check for the information they want to know.
