I am a feeling, quite hard to define,
Yet, it's a part of me, in every design.
A love for all, With no limit nor bound,
A force that spreads, without making a sound.

Some try to fake me, for their personal gain,
But my nature is pure, and always will be the same.
I am not quite tangible, nor am I easy to perceive,
Yet, without me, this world would never achieve.

What am I?

This riddle has gone on far too long I must confess,
So a hint to give away the answer, so we may dismiss.
The riddle is talking of many emotions true,
But humans are the heart of it all, and love is too.
Love for our fellow humans to be precise,
For we need to care for each other, no matter the price.

Now I assume this is good enough a clue for you,
To help you solve this and follow through.
So please take a moment, don't be in a rush,
And try to solve this riddle with a logical brush.

A gift that I'll offer to whoever posts it first,
Might bring some excitement, and quench your intellectual thirst.
It's unfortunate that it took us quite so long,
But now we can finally finish this riddle song.

Unfortunately the answer is actually quite obvious,
But sometimes the simplest answer can leave us oblivious.

@SW-User Specifically it's humanitarianism, but altruism is essentially the equivalent. So yep, good job Waterthefields.
