I have heard it all over the years.

Mental illness. Your life being so tough and challenging it prevents you from extending some fairness. Being high or drunk. Not understanding other cultures. Not being informed..

I have heard every excuse in the books, and I accept none.

If I could give people completely different than I am a voice, stand with them, love them, risk my own safety and stability for them, if I could make those choices despite my circumstances, a few words of encouragement and a just perspective recognizing the right of those like me to live is not so much to expect. It is the very minimum.
