You cannot fight for others, if you do not fight for yourself. Yet to fight for oneself is to fight for all. Freedom and dignity will always be incomplete unless it belongs to every person everywhere.

It saddens me that a couple chosen to respond with arrogance and self-centeredness. And I doubt even paying attention to the context.

Even more so because this recklessness is at the root of the problem. Everyone is worthy of being treated with humanity and respect.
