I Will Tell You Ten Things About Me

I am 71 years old.
I live in a California desert town.
I like gardening, especially tomatoes.
My favorite activities are swimming, garden, writing, reading.
I think garage sales are fun.
Right now I am writing my memoirs of working with criminally insane people in a state mental hospital.
I am in a strict diet and exercise program to lose weight and regain mobility after an illness.
I like cats but don't have one now (building rules).
One of my hobbies is home canning; I make jams, jellies, catsup and pickles.
I lived in the Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco in the 1960s, then in Oregon in the 1970s.

You've got some things the wrong way round for me. I love maths and don't like gymnastics. I live with mum dad and little sister. But I do like yellow and wearing dresses and skirts. And I sleep with a teddy bear :)

@teri99, I'm finding maths a struggle and I get stressed over whether I will get the grade I need to go to college. I'm in the top set, but I don't think I should be. Numbers dance on the page and make fun of me when I open my textbook :-(

hahaha! when i am at home from school, i have two bears, they are called Big Bear and Little Bear - very original LOL!

No, she is grey! My sister has a brown bear and because I wanted everything my sister had when we were little, I named her after my desire :-)
