@VioletRayne being the oldest child can have that effect though, me and my sis were 5yrars apart, I was that overprotective brother lol she’s had one or two boyfriends who felt intimidated by me lol. That’s how I tested them, if they stood up to me I knew they were going to be good to my sister. But in time she’s found and getting married to an amazing fella. I never had to test him. I knew from day one they were meant to be. Now they both made a beautiful girl who is due in days so I’ll have a niece. First baby in our family for 25 years.

@SW-User I am in a relationship with a single parent so I pretty much have step kids, and her youngest never really knew her dad. But she comes from a big family also where each generation had 3+ children. My family is a small dying breed lol.

@SW-User 22 years! Wow my gf and her first daughter are same age difference and me and my Mum are 21 years apart. I’m only 19 years apart from my gfs first daughter, so I would be like the older brother of cousin rather than step dad lol. My partner is 3 1/2 years older than me.

@VioletRayne only my immediate , parents grandparents and sister are local, all of my mums side are in Sydney and all of my dads side live in England, and his brother and my 2 of 4 cousins live in Gold Coast.

@VioletRayne I don’t have great grandparents left, but I do look exactly like my great great grandfather on my dads side, spitting image. But my grandparents are great grandparents for the second time in a few days. I was raised by my dads parents half of my childhood.
We are a close but distant family but very dysfunctional lol.
