My Posts and About Me

I haven't made a post on here in forever since this place isn't on my radar anymore. For anyone that happens to view my old posts and heart them or make a comment, I want you to understand that I don't even think about those old posts anymore. There are occasions where I randomly receive a notification and it's from someone hearting one of my old posts for no reason. If you want to start a conversation with me, then just message me.

I am not like a lot of the folks here that prefer interacting on posts. If you want to get to know me, then messaging is the best way to initiate conversation. I distinctly remember getting all of the irritating trolls on my previous posts from the ones that live on here and have nothing else going for them in their lives. I am much more active on places where I have an actual community, and this place is a far cry from EP. Now it feels like a lame-ass Facebook (Which I always disliked), so I ignore this place.

I've seen all sorts of political vitriol spewed on here or just the incredibly strange posts that litter this platform. If it wasn't for a select few individuals that I actually could enjoy speaking to, I would just put my account on hiatus again or delete it entirely. That is all from me.

Edit: The folks that have always been decent to me in old posts or wherever, I appreciate you.

From a female perspective, it’s not always people heart your posts because they want your attention or want to chat with you. Some people just like to share their love and showing that they find your old posts interesting or amusing. Whether you think it’s about you or not and if you will notice but sometimes we heart or comment on old posts so we can go back to read them at a later date. Also I like it when I get a notification that someone else has recently commented on a post that I commented on 6 years earlier because then I can compare my answer to that specific post to see if I would still answer the same way all this time later.

@Gingerbreadspice Well sure, I understand that folks may just want to heart my post after stumbling across it, but I was moreso referring to the individuals that heart my post, follow me, and even leave a short comment, yet they don't attempt to speak to me further.

Hmm, going back to old posts to see if you would respond the same would be interesting, but for me, if someone took time out to do all of the things I mentioned above, why not send a message as well? It's a waste of time.

I appreciate all hearts and kudos on my posts, but I'd rather not be randomly bugged by someone going out of their way to fire up my notifications if they don't want to speak further.
