Ten things about me:

1. I am 5’5", and have been since age 12; The shortest in my immediate family.

2. I am also left handed; functionally ambidextrous, thanks to schools I attended who saw it as something that required correction. 🙄

3. I cook, and am known among friends and family for Sunday brunches.

4. I’m very reserved until I feel comfortable; then I have a dry sarcastic sense of humor, people are often surprised to hear it initially.

5. I’m the eldest of four children; three girls and a boy.

6. I was a member of EP from 2009-2016; this was my username there, too.

7. After college I was a schoolteacher briefly; after layoffs I found a job with a company where I remained even after the school district called me back. Eventually I became an instructor for the company’s sales force.

8. I was widowed; a car accident claimed both my husband and our only child, a son.

9. I come from a musical family going back generations. My earliest memories were playing the piano or violin while other relatives played instruments and sang.

10. My parents are originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but they moved to San Francisco, California, where I was born and raised.
