What is the best way for someone to start their autobiography?

Should it start at the beginning? Should i tell a horrible life changing story? should i start with my impressions of the world as a whole?

Try the non linear approach.. start from the end , switch to the middle.. and then yo the beginning and back to middle.. like Oppenheimer

@LILY61 Choose your narration properly for it should not be the adult in you writing about the 4 years old you. It would be seen as over exaggeration or imagination. Sometimes just the minimum wording like a 4 year old, can leave a greater impact.
