What is the best way for someone to start their autobiography?

Should it start at the beginning? Should i tell a horrible life changing story? should i start with my impressions of the world as a whole?

You work it out as you go along, first you just write anything then you put it into chapters and then you finally put it in some sort of order. I can't remember which author it was who wrote what I'm quoting but he/she also went to say 'write something' it may be terrible but at least you've started. If you think you've completed the book all you've finished is the first draft and this won't be good enough to publish. They said quite a lot of other similar stuff too but that's all I remember.
@GeniUs i have written a bunch of stuff but i feel sort of flustered and depressed about it. so i thought if i could organize it and decide exactly how i am going to begin.....but i really don't know. i am too close to the subject matter

@LILY61 Sometimes you need a second pair of eyes to help you, I assume that a lot of the dedications you see on the front pages of books are for people who have helped in this way.
@GeniUs i have no one

@LILY61 If you would like me to read some of your work, I'll happily do it but I am mildly autistic so that even though I try to behave with etiquette and kindness sometimes comments slip through that appear unkind or thoughtless ( happens more frequently when I am tired).
@GeniUs thank you very much
