1) I am a lefty. (Nothing to do with politics)
2) I have an older sister, who is married with a little boy.
3) I am single but it doesn't bother me as much as it does other people. (My mum).
4) I have no qualms being single at 33.
5) I am a very good cook, thanks to my mother.
6) I used to be a vegetarian. It was the chemicals/antibiotics in the meat that I didn't like. I gave in after refusing my mum's Sunday roasts far too many times, and because my brother in law kept wafting the meat on his fork under my nose.
7) I'm a fan of soul, Motown, rock. Bruce Springsteen, Elvis, there isn't much of today's music I go for. I do not like Taylor Swift's cheesy pop songs.
8) I have been to Italy, and France, but I would love to visit Japan as my maternal grandmother was from Kyoto, her name was Ayame and a beautiful lady inside and out. I love everything I have learned about the culture, the food, the etiquette, landscape, architecture, all of it.
9) I was born in Suffolk.
10) I love tea and dislike coffee. I'm not keen on the smell at all. If I have to make a cup for someone - I do have a jar at home because my sister and a couple of friends like it, I feel the need (I don't, just feel the need) to put a peg on my nose.
11) I love Beatrix Potter. My favourite character is Jemima Puddleduck.
12) I love chocolate but do not like brownies.
13) I love reading. I always thought I would end up working in a little shop selling rare and antique books.
14) I'm 5'2.
15) I have brown eyes and dark brown hair.
16) I loved Chemistry at school.
17) I love people but am quite shy. It takes an effort to get into conversation for me sometimes if I meet others. I do find it easier on SW, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
18) I have three good friends, two of which I have known since I was eight. They used to protect me when my sister was after my blood (for some reason or other).
19) I do not drive. My dad tried to teach me and said he'd be safer in front of a hurling juggernaut then with me on the road. I bought a bike.
20) My name is Gemma, nice to meet you.
