So I get really nice compliments from “strangers” these days…
1) the cashier in the grocery telling me that I look pretty and i have some beautiful colored highlights. (Shared that she used to work in a hair salon)
2) a guy in the bus telling me he finds it beautiful how me and my son relate to each other.
3) My son’s class adviser personally went up to me and shook my hands and thanking me for raising a nice kid. Never in his years of teaching had he met a kid like mine. He seems well behaved, kind, and performs well in school (I think he is exaggerating but oh well)
I’m a bit sick with colds but this helps me feels positive during the day or weeks ahead.
