All the stories in the UK of people being pushed into canals and drowning become stupid when you realise canals are only 3 feet deep!

The Pusher goes from terrifying to pathetic if you look up an image of a drained British narrowboat canal and realise just how pathetically shallow and easy to stand up in they are.

UK canals aren't known for strong currents and almost always are 4 feet deep in the middle, or less. Literally knee-deep near the sides.

Provided they're not unconscious, there's literally nothing stopping the Pusher's victims from simply standing up in shallow water and waiting until he walks away.

In b4 the 'b-b-ut you can drown in an inch of water' cliche, yeah, if you're unconscious. Completely irrelevant to conscious people falling into shallow water.

A person who is pushed in would be standing there in waist-deep water and say "was that supposed to kill me?"
