1 -- Joyous Simulacrum

Joyous Simulacrum is my working title of whatever this is that I shall be devoting myself to with the posts remaining, to be approached either as one approaches a book, a long term thing, with a dose here and there, if one is only interested in a certain kind of thing though by all means just skip to those, but there will be a heavy leaning on Learning, and always to do with what I see as the unfortunate normal state of .... well I don't want to be too forthright, for this has to be a subtle piece of work in some respects. When you point the finger, 3 other fingers are pointing at you, so I must ergo feel 3 times the kind of pressure to in the word of Heisenberg -- not make junk!! Each post will have the main categories represented -- Music -- Film --- and Books --- and by books this can also mean documentaries that are almost as beneficial as books.
Tabula Rasa -- a clean slate, a doing it over again, a new draft, I choose to use the posts I've not deleted yet to present a kind of Joyous Curriculum which is for me an attempt at idealization of a kind of presentation of the materials these be, at the forefront to musically inaugurate this venture, which will when completed will be like a solid foundation from which I can live the rest of my life, which possibly might entail a normal use of SW, I give you a wonderful performance of Arvo Part's singular early work named Tabula Rasa, it's the 2nd slow movement that is most sacred unto this foolish person making this, yo Arvo, give us this clean slate in a manner of sound!! The manner in which I interpret this piece is the 2nd movement is the clean slate at the beginning, what came before was some sort of hectic crisis that led up to it, that 1st movement was me last night, August 4, 2026. The 2nd movement is the peace of the "let's try this again, let's see if you can do something you can be proud of, for once in your life."

I said Joyous, and meant it, joy than runs deep that comes after considering some of the miserable realities of life as it simply is, how it's turned out so far.
I will be working beneath the surface, slowly and casually, sculpting an array which if approached as one would approach a novel, one would come away I think with something at the very least interesting. But my sincerest wish is that it can actually help someone, as well as entertain, and maybe provide a chuckle every once in awhile, my Trinity covers all the bases, and my emphasis is for sure on the darker side, because the world itself is dark, not in a hey it's dark as night out, but dark in the manners and deeds of ---- fill in the blank.
Once I complete this "magnum opus" I shall log out and if I ever feel like being active again, will, but I seriously feel I have to move on, using the ongoingness approach to the THREE.
This is being begun in the afternoon of August 5, 2026, and will be taking my time. In a documentary of the great film director Luis Bunuel, it made a strong point that he was uniquely born to be a director, and if he had been born in any previous century, he'd have no vocation that would be his metier, a metier as I understand it, is a profession one is a professional at. I LOVE Professionals, those who do it in the best way possible. I will endeavor to leave behind as best as I can. It will be clearly made plain when completed, until then, I suggest witholding judgment. ooooh that sounds too taunting like, don't mean it like that.
Chapter 1 -- Let's see and hear what an intelligent person sounds like, see the knowingness in his eyes? I much appreciated my 2nd go through of this little 3 parter on Media, from Gutenberg to virtual reality games where you can so realistically go for shopping trips, care of Zuckerberg. This was made from a year ago (2024/5), and news changes fast in our world, so keep that in mind to avoid jumping to conclusions, I know we love doing that, I do it obviously!!

9:18 -- the dopamine hit, an important way sites like Facebook designed their sites to make them addictive, a key thing you can consider if internet addiction is ruining your life. For me, I will be using the internet in a positive way, 1st off here going through a long novel length production of material, mostly videos, that shall incorporate the three. ... My Joyous Simulacrum is my own disruption of this loop of dopamine rewards.

Chapter 2 -- Michael Haneke -- The Seventh Continent -- life before mass internet use could be miserable, let's look into one of my favorite bleak films, where a family disintegrates

Why would anyone want to see something like that? Well for starters, you can learn some empathy for whoever is in similar situations, see how these sorts of things can indeed happen wherever people live. Films that do this, that I think are important are creating as unique but also as realistic world as possible. The unique aspect is their creativity.
Watching a film like this is the polar opposite of watching TV, you can actually grow in some respects from watching it, and connecting to the story so that the ending can be impacting, it is those not connecting to it that would be like "that was some boring shit, didn't do nothing for me" well from such words as that, the in-between the lines language goes more like "look bud, i'm not here to think, I watch movies to be entertained, so I didn't give it a chance, ergo it sucked!!" speaking more loudly and clearly there I must say!!

He's right, if there was more about the family, which is shown pretty flatly, the ending would have been more impactful. Haneke's later films are indeed more accomplished.

Now let's hear Haneke himself on Schindler's List, now that is a great film obviously, but it's not the pinnacle of film art you may be led to believe, that is just my opinion, in Aesthetics, opinions are more up to the one doing the appreciating, so this is just me being consistent in how I choose to convey what I have to say.

Well this is just his opinion, the great filmmakers' opinions are their own, they're not they're audience's opinions, not necessarily. I believe that films about horrible events in history can and should be made if they can help keep the facts of history alive in the present culture, Steven Spielberg created something that touched my mom's life, and one of the things she made sure of was before our Nanny, mom's mom was to see it, for our Nanny lived through those horrible events.

Not to sensationalize bad historical events, that's how i'm going to crystallize his position, recognizing for example Costa-Gavras' Z as a great film, but due to that rhetorical method has that tv entertainment effect on the viewer, whereas with the best kinds of films it's effectually like reading a book, or watching an informative serious minded documentary that allows you to receive information at a pace conducive to actual learning. And you can always rewind, go back, these videos aren't just watch once and forget it, they are chosen with care. However whatever isn't of interest shouldn't be preferred before jumping to what one may be already into like music which shall come shortly.

But I still very much want to attempt to put what is going on in words, that dastardly wanting to be understood tendency that will not work on SW
I wanted ideally to provide a vast library of material mostly in videos that would offer a refreshing take on any kind of thing that falls within my 3 interests.
I was informed by the one I genteely asked to stop commenting that all i'm doing is making a bunch of noise, that was to a post where I tried to explain how I would like to be able to dialogue about religion, but as it's such a sticky subject for me personally it remains a difficulty,
but all that is just noise, if I was realistic and stuff I'd just do whatever I wanted flawlessly without any room for anyone to find fault with.
I reject that mindset, but it sets into motion the over 50% dissatisfaction I find with SW.
My method was scatterbrained whatever came to me at the moment I held nothing back, I felt like I was on a mission, which is what schizophrenics can sometimes do, having some kind of Messianic complex, I reject that wholeheartedly.
But surely my method had some of those traits and it disgusts me, becoming what I hate is worse than being surrounded by those you hate.
So if this is clear then I hope all who are kind and treat others here as if they were human beings and not targets to shoot at, I hope those can accept this decision to approach the rest of my life without online interaction.
In one of the videos now deleted was on how others accept you for how you fit in with their preconceived notions of you, and when you make your own path and be more authentic, they shall fall away be suddenly silent and all, that kind of thing which i'm not wording well.
Well to move forward in my interests may mean all who were ever nice end up pretending I wasn't ever there, which is a simplistic run down of that video about not trying to be understood.
I was making some progress personally but I should not have used SW as a public travelogue for this journey i'm on.
My journey will be continuing, and it will be hard not having anyone to share it with, but I won't be bothering a single soul, and that seems to me a clincher of a detail.
