As an almost Elderly woman, I have to laugh about getting old and a bit senile!
I'm 32, which is just 3 years from clinically being considered elderly for a woman (for those who don't know, men and women age at different rates!). For proof of this, consider that pregnancies over 35 are literally called "geriatric pregnancies". Source for that: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22438-advanced-maternal-age
Ageing is a completely normal part of life, and a lot of people deny this. Me personally? I own the fact that I'm getting old. I'm not 16 anymore! It's absolutely normal to struggle getting words out, pronouncing things correctly, to become confused easily, to move slowly, be forgetful, and to feel very tired. I've had every blood test done, MRIs, and all of them are normal. So all of this is just to do with the fact I'm ageing and I laugh whenever I get confused in front of someone and I say "I'm having a senior moment!".
Did I mention it's normal? No woman should feel shame about the above symptoms, but many women are conditioned to believe it must be a character flaw, or that they have some kind of disease. Just remember to be kind to yourself and keep chugging those energy drinks to get a bit more energy!
