update on new heat pump system and electrical usage...power surge protection is an extra you must purchase seperately!!

i learned this past sunday 2 pcb's were damaged with the power being out 6 hours...i have a whole house generator that ran the entire time. the exact cause for pcb failure i cannot determine. surge protection is an absolute must for both the outside unit and the indoor air handler. GOOD NEWS i am using 150-200 kw's less per month january thru april. with the huge demand of the data centers and a windmill project in the chesapeake bay our virginia electric bills skyrocketing
