I hate that I’m too kind at times.

To the point of being gullible if I’m deeply touched by someone else’s suffering.

It’s not that I’m inherently naïve, because I see the red flags but choose to ignore them.

Not tooting my own horn either. I do have my evil moments.

It’s just that sometimes, it’s hard to look away.

I believe you that you may not be touting your own horn but you probably are tooting. This sniffer of mine is pretty good.

Kidding.

I do the same thing. It's like believing someone and helping them is worth the risk of being tricked just because I feel so badly for them.

In some cases, I do think that's the way to be. But not always.
