My son got them and he also got the battery bank with it. He seems to be happy with it so far.
We will see.

You just sell the power back to the grid during the day and get a rebate. You don't have to be self sufficient.

@BlueVeins There's a fixed minimum sum you have to pay every month calculated from the minimum wage. Healthcare insurance is compulsory for every citizen except students under 30 year of age, the retired, prisoners and the registered unemployed. People with disability pay reduced price. Until now, the social insurance wasn't compulsory if your income didn't exceed the subsistence level (minimum wage x12) even if you had a status of an entrepreneur or independent contractor. But from June 2026 on, everyone with such status will compulsory pay minimum of 131 € every month regardless of their income. So if someone is an registered independent contractor who takes irregular commissions still will have to pay this fee. This applies equally to people who has this as the only source of income, those who has this as a side hustle besides their regular full-time job, the retired who earn extra money, students who want to freelance... There is no sum of money you can legally earn without dealing with some sort of bureaucratic BS and those who want to freelance, have to register as independent contractors or as some other form depending on what kind of service or product they want to provide.

@CrazyMusicLover That's pretty much the system we have here 😅.. except that instead of healthcare insurance the fixed quota goes to the pension system. Which is even worse, as I'm absolutely certain I'm going to give more money to it than I'll ever get back even if I lived up to 160

@BlueVeins Thats what I did long ago. My electric bill is a quarter of what it was, summer and winter. In the winter the reverse cycle supplies most of my heat. And in the summer the extra sun allows me to air condition the place for free..It really isnt worth the investment for me to get a battery..😷

The sunlight during the day is enough to keep the heat going at night it’s like charging a phone
