Is it Aluminum or Aluminium? For me it is Aluminum.

I am getting annoyed being corrected by my husband about this…

When is was first discovered it was called 'Aluminum' but was then changed a few years later to match the other elements, ie: (magnesium, potassium).

Aluminum stayed in America
Aluminium is the international standard.

I figure both are corect🤷‍♀
