People who say they don’t like to sit around

They like to be out and busy or always doing something. And it seems we praise these people. When I was younger yes I wanted to be doing something but not anymore.

Now you have people out there that volunteer and are involved in all kinds of stuff. But maybe they do it, because they need to keep busy or they will get to thinking about problems or mistakes in life. And then get depressed or turn to alcohol or drugs. Well that is not me I’m fine to think and reflect.

If you think you know what I’m talking about.

I have 3 kids so I'm always on the go. And don't get me wrong I love taking them to do things, play sports and school activities, parks, zoo's but I if I didn't have to I would stay home most of the time. I prefer to sit by a fire, listen to jazz and enjoy a cigar and whiskey.

@Cigarguy101 you’re doing what you have to do like I do. I’m talking about people who get involved in all kinds of stuff that they don’t have to. And the reasons why they do it doesn’t necessarily make them a good person. Even if they are volunteering and doing good things.
