Most of what they do

@ElRengo Your right. Having a nice home fully paid for, driving nice cars, eating good meals, taking nice vacations, having all of your bills paid in full with money leftover in the bank sucks! Right on! ✊
@ElRengo they enhance the taste, can enjoy just caviar on toast points, crackers or hard boiled eggs. when having a get together always have a tray on the bar for our guests

@saragoodtimes And don't forget that pretty new Mercedes of yours. 🙂 Money definitely makes life more comfortable.
@Musicman he works long hours to provide for us, there are sacrifices we have to make
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@saragoodtimes Yes there are! Plus he had to have good enough grades to get into medical school plus go for all of those years. Then there is the abuse doctors get doing their residency. Now tell us the truth. How many days a week does he actually come home on time? How often is he called at home to come in for emergencies?
@Musicman Don't forget about not worrying about disconnection notices.

@NativePortlander1970 Not having financial worries is pretty awesome! 🙂🙂🙂
@Musicman I always pay my rent and bills before anything else, something my late ex fiancee never grasped the concept of, she was addicted to online shopping.

@NativePortlander1970 I am sorry to hear that. Having a place to live and working utilities is pretty nice. 🙂
@Musicman It is indeed

Oh well, my house is comfortable, my car works fine, I cook good meals, I pay my bills and will take some vacation days by next month.
And I´m not at all one of those ones.........

@saragoodtimes
I´m quite happy about my own tastes.

@Musicman he works a minimum of 10 hrs a day. he's on call the first weekend of every month. on weekends he makes rounds at the hospital and the nursing home. he takes emergency calls from the hospital at all times if a patient is brought in. being a Geriatric Physician he wants to be the one to sign the death certificate if a patient passes and to meet with the family
@Musicman don't try to make me feel bad about buying a new car. we can afford it without straining the budget. yes even Doctors wives have a budget
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@saragoodtimes I wasn't trying to make you feel bad at all. I was trying to make ElRingo see that your life isn't all parties and good times. Your husband worked very hard to get where he is now. Very hard.

@ElRengo

So you are good. Right?

Blame it to my never enough English but I´m not sure about the meaning of your question.
Is it about finantial well being?
I have enough for my moderate needs. No wish to become a rich bussines man.
Is it about being happy with my life?
Yes if about family, friends, profession, some other goals.
Have some bittersweet memories and other soul pains.
A bit like other humans.......
