TLDR; Knock Knock. Who's there? Me. Me who? No. Me!

Hello, my dears.

Those few who may remember me through the name change and constant disappearances. Or dears I have yet to meet. That works too.

How have you guys been? It's been a year 😏 Okay. So. It's been since November, but that WAS last year.

I do hope 2024 wrapped up decently for you and that 2025 has been playing nicely.

Ive had quite a bit going on. In my last post, I had mentioned I had gotten a roommate. She was my best friend since middle school {2005} and I learned after 5 weeks why I should have left her behind. Sometimes, it's those closest to you that will use and hurt you the worst.

2025 has been okay, however. I do have some pressing health issues still and my mental illnesses continue to provide both barriers and hurdles, but it's all a massive work in progress.

My biggest health issue from last year, which some of you will remember, would be my blood. They had thought I had a type of blood cancer whose signature was a massively high RBC count. Well, it plummeted pretty fast, spiked again, and dropped again. We found it was in response to the changes in my iron stores. My iron is low, but not nearly as bad as it was before. HOWEVER, my body STILL refuses it. It isn't being used/absorbed. My iron saturation is a 7% when it should be a 20 at the lowest. She's still trying to work out why. I've been eating a heavy iron diet. Even my blood labs show it's not because of insufficient B12. Something else is causing this. The other medical issues are a stye that has lasted 8 months on my eye when styes usually are gone in two weeks time at most (it still hurts and itches, so we know it's not a chalazion. They want a biopsy on it). My tonsils, which have been so big, they're touching, for two months. Take the tonsils, an elevated white blood cell count, an enlarged right cervical lymph node (Yes, you dirty birdies, cervix and cervical also is used for things neck related) and the lung attenuation they found on a CT scan and you get that my body is fighting an infection, but they can't work out what it is because I keep coming back negative for everything they're testing for. Then we have the beloved carpal tunnel syndrome both hands/wrists. The right is worse than the left. The right has no grip strength. But they both have the pain that worsens at night, the intermittent pins and needles, the frequent numbness and the weaknesses. I have started gaming a lot more and drawing more, so I can't say I'm surprised. We have the insomnia, where I go up to 8 days without sleep or I'm awake every 30 minutes...And, of course, my migraines. I've been getting them almost daily now. It was daily for a few weeks. I will be seeing a neurologist in August (unless there's a cancelation) about them. My PCP put the referral in when I asked her about a new medication. Triptans and preventatives haven't worked. There's an IV therapy med called Vyepti that we want to try. You sit there and get the med in an IV. A session four times a year that staves off Migraines for up to 3 months. Seems like a game changer. Anything for less pills to have to swallow. My psych meds are enough 😂

I'll also be getting new glasses in April. I have a vision exam appointment on the 7th and my eyes have only gotten worse lol. Can't wait for him to tell me I'm 33 going on 2948462y2

Now for good things going on:

I've started digital art drawing now instead of just paper and pencil. It's proven to be a bit harder. Depending on what paper you're using, certain papers tend to have more of a 'grip' on the artist pencils. A steady and light hand aren't as crucial because it's more forgiving. I have an app on my phone that let's me turn it basically into a tablet. The stylus and screen route are less forgiving. My less steady and heavy hand are proving to be a challenge because the lines are coming out more squiggly and thick in some spots. Gonna keep practicing. Hard with the carpal tunnel, however, so I'm taking a bit of a break. I'll be uploading some digital pieces here as well to go with my paper ones.

I'm going to start live streaming. I have my PNG tuber that blinks, talks and all, I have most of what I need set up, and I'm just waiting on two more things. I got my discord community server ready to go and I couldn't be more excited to do costreaming with friends. It'll be a nice little hobby.

Sage and Phoenix are still alive and kicking. I remember how much some of you loved them. Sageboi has been with me just over 3 years now. Phoenix has been about a year and 6 months. August 7th will make two years for Ms. Phoenix (Grey eyed double mane lion head rabbit) and Mr. Sage (Broken black satin rabbit) is December 14th. Such good bunnos.

I shall, as always, include a picture of them.

I do so hope you all are doing well and that you have an amazing morning, day, evening or night.

All the warmest wishes and best vibes to you!

I'm not sure whether I've known you by another name or not (and, at almost 70, my memory isn't what it was)....but you are an interesting person.
You also have a great deal of physical health issues to deal with at a young age....which I'm sure affects your mindset as well (but then, what doesn't affect our mindset in one way or another).
I am fascinated by artistic talent, as it is something that affects my mindset...yet I have little if any artistic ability. I have gotten by on intelmect and athleticism but have shown no great ability in the fields of music and art (though some of my writings have been passable).
I look forward to seeing you on here again, and hopefully will recognize you when I do.

Dragon
@DragonFruit I only had one other name on here. It was SaccharinCyanide. But if we haven't crossed paths yet-- Hello! Haha.

I'm sure your writings are fantastic. I like to write too. When it comes to seeing our own work and things we do ourselves, we can be our own toughest critics! A lot of times, no one else will be as critical of us or tough on us as we ourselves.

I'm sure you'll see me around. I am a sneaky beaky, however, so I may not stand out lol.

@MemoirsOfTheDamned I remember the name Saccharin Cyanide, so I probably did see you here before.
@DragonFruit You might have. Like I said. I'm sneaky Beaky. I'll pop up in unexpected places and moments haha.
I don't know if we met on here before.

@jshm2 Which one?
@jshm2 And not to ruin your dinner plans but neither breed are good for meat. Phoenix's breed would be too small and Sage's breed would be better kept for his fur.
