I might get a tattoo next month. Am I too old?

I’ll turn 56 in January. I’ve never wanted a tattoo before but I think I want to do it.

Am I too old?

If you don't mind, I would like to ask two questions. First, where on your body do you plan on getting a tattoo? Second, what kind of shape is your skin in? Also, if you are going to a tattoo shop, I highly recommend you call the local health department and ask if the shop has had any violations.

Now as for the shape of my skin, can you elaborate? Not sure I understand
