I can't frigging sleep! 😭

They are doing road construction close by. They have three vehicles constantly backing up and making that incessive Beep! Beep! Beep! As they back up. At times they all back up at the same time. The night is so quiet I can hear it well. It woke me up at 3:30 am. Now it's 4:47 am and I am wide awake. To make matters worse I have heartburn. 😭 What a way to cap off your birthday. ☹ Rant over.

Oh no! Oh that would burn me up. I am such a light sleeper and what a horrible thing to happen on your birthday. I'm so sorry. Please call the police. They should not be working that early in the morning. That should be against the law. Please call the police. This should not be allowed. I hate this is happening. 😡

@LadyGrace They have actually been working nights for the past month. ☹ For some reason it just really bothered me tonight. They must be working really close to the house. It is 5:18 now. I think they have shut it down for the morning rush hour. I might try going back to sleep, but I have to be up in an hour. ☹

@Musicman oh no!!! I'm so sorry honey. Maybe when you're finished with whatever you have to do you could take a nap in the afternoon or early morning. You might have to try ear plugs and maybe a sleeping pill the next night. I don't want to see you lose any more sleep. I hope you can get back to sleep at least another hour. I pray you do. 🫂
