Musicman Three and a half years later I wemt to Oregon to visit my relatives when I was 14, that was then when my Grandfather sit me down and showed me a report from a retired Hillsboro detective that my Grandfather knew, he came to iowa to investigate because it was suspicious that my Dad was planning on taking us back out to Oregon, he had convinced my mother to get back together, then suddenly took his own life? That makes no sense what so ever. So my Dad's neighbor at the apartments he was staying at told the sheriff some guy was snooping around asking everyone about my Dad, the guy told the detective my uncle was seen coming out of my Dad's apartment the day he supposedly took his life, he was found three days later when he didn't show up at the clinic for his shift as an RN, the sheriff showed up at the detective's motel room and told him if he didn't leave the county the same would happen to him. He was not stupid knowing the stories of strangers that disappear in the middle of nowhere rural towns, he left everything while the sheriff was there and split, when he notified the local area state police captain he just laughed and asked him what was his proof, he had left his microcassette recorder behind with everything else.
