Can't tell if a waitress is flirting with me
I have a waitress at work who gets very excited whenever I am around. I don't think she is my type, but not 100% certain as I wear my glasses on top of my head so I don't have to look at ugly people. They blur out when I walk and I am happy.
So.... I have a history of just not knowing when a girl is into me, and most people who say anything about my demeanor tell me I'm off setting or intimidating. Either a Terminator, Daniel Craig, or Angry, etc. I have the standard issue INTJ no emotion face.
It got so out of control one year, I was repeatedly ambushed by waitresses at a concert venue I worked as a Usher/ Security.... I would patrol the VIP boxes booting people out who didn't have wrist bands and support the outer perimeter and do bathroom breaks for people, and the waitresses would line up along the wall below the boxes as I walked by. One eventually got in my way and started twerking. I went around, minding my own business. Then it was happening more and more. They were systemmatically ambushing me.
So obviously something was going on there I wasn't fully aware of. I'm guessing none of them were really into me and just wanted to see who could get my attention first. I dunno. I'm terrible at these things.
I don't know what to do with this waitress. She pops up out of nowhere and knkws my name and waves at me from far away always smiling. And I wave back and say Hey, cause I have no clue whatsoever her name. Or age. I can't tell if women are my age or not. I dunno.
And I feel a little bad I don't know her name, despite not knowing 99% of people on staff, because she is always so excited to see me. Like, a puppy you come home to. But I don't want to ask someone else her name because then she might think I like her, and I don't think I can pick her out of a police lineup. Her face is a bit blurry. I literally could sit down next to her at lunch and not know it.
