If you had a little over $100k in the bank but lost $1k gambling, obviously youd be mad, but how mad?

Is it that much if you have that much money? Or would you be mildly upset. Secrets out...I lost $700 gambling playing poker. Not 1k, but just rounding it

For $700 you could have had 2 bj's, two bottles of whiskey, and a couple hotdogs, but maybe sitting in a casino, dreaming of winning the big one excites you more.
Live your life how you like and don't look back.
Sometimes you win, but mostly you lose. :)

Anytime I walk into a casino, I go with only the money I'm willing to lose. I enjoy the process, not the outcome. It's how I avoid a gambling addiction.

@Samek it was online poker. So yeah im upset, but i feel more guilty than anything but yeah in upset. Doesnt put a major dent in my pocket or anything relative to what i have, but 700 is a lot. Im going to quit playing. I was up, then down, then up, ans suffered a couple of bad beats. Idk if you know how to play poker, but i had a straight and went all in, and they had a full house. That hurt

@MntoNc yeah, I feel ya. I don't online gamble cuz I don't trust myself.

@Samek im not going to lie it is addictive. But i need to quit. I didnt lose it all at the same time. It was little by little by little. Depositing 50, and another 50, and a 25, and a 75...but i just caught myself and i think its time to quit for good. If i was playing better obviously i woulsnt quit

I'm not a gambler but If I were to go into a casino. I'd go in with an amount of money that I felt I could afford to lose.
Pretty mad. I liken gambling to flushing money down the toilet. Not a fan.
When gambling on-line... just keep in mind that .....

THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS

@Threepio youre not playing against "the house" youre playing against other players

I don't gamble, it's the equivalent of burning money.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I wouldn't gamble in the first place.
