what does it mean when you only care about yourself

i only care about me and my family, i care very little (if at all) for anybody else, ive always been about self, me me me and my family, immediate family, extended too.

what does this mean?

I don’t know what it means, but I think it’s really important, not only for others but for ourselves, to care about everybody even people we don’t know. I think it makes us become more caring and loving and accepting
