Do you prefer staying inside with the blinds drawn or are you a get up and go see what the world is doing person?

Neither one. I’m a wake up slowly, leisurely morning person, who enjoys a nice view with my coffee. I’d like to be a get up and go type, but it’s not my physiology or psychology. I’d like to go out and do more and explore, but between the extreme weather here, and a few other things, I’m mostly stuck at home. I have to say that what the world is doing isn’t very appealing to me these days, so besides enjoying nature, there isn’t much out there to entice me.

@Carissimi Going for a walk in nature is still getting out. I definitely believe in waking up slowly and relaxing. I am in my recliner right now with kitty. She is sound asleep so I definitely won't be getting up anytime soon. But, I'll probably go out for brunch.

I know you enjoy eating out. I ate out, a lot, for many years until, for a few reasons, I didn’t. Still, every once in a while, I get a yearning to go out to eat, but it became tiresome always being alone, so I don’t bother, especially after the pandemic. @Musicman

@Carissimi I can understand that. My wife doesn't go out much so I almost always go alone. I just got use to it.

I used to take myself out for my birthday for a few years, but even that got old. Food from restaurants is not healthy for the most part, so once in awhile is okay, but even once a week would probably exceed my sodium, saturated fat, and cholesterol budget. @Musicman

@Carissimi Some days getting older sucks! ☹️

I know. I had too much sodium, and too little water one day, last week, and woke up with a leg cramp that took a few days to settle down. Never mind that it raises my BP if I have too much. I read that anyone over 40, should not have more than 1500 mg/day of sodium. Do you know how hard that is even eating healthy? Even egg whites are high in it, and my veggie burgers. I do my best, even cutting out adding it to my food, but then food tastes so bland. It’s a constant balancing act. @Musicman

@Carissimi Yes it is. ☹️ I completely agree with you. I am noticing that as I feel with having to watch my sugar and carb intake. ☹️
