Little Update.
Hi,
It's been a little while. It's December and, of course, we're all planning for Xmas and the holidays.
All is good at the Duponte/Durose houshold, commonly known as Duponte Towers to all the family. The wife is doing well, there's some normalcy in terms of the School and teaching as a whole. Now there's a surprise! Lol! So she's enjoying her job - Deputy Head, no less - and even having a social life! Who would have thunk that ?!?
My eldest, Martika, is doing well too. Been a good few years now that she's been clean, and she's sorting herself out mentally as well, which is nice to see. She's getting back to the young woman that I admired. My grandchildren? They're doing well too. Her hubby's always fine, so no change there.
My youngest, Hope? Going from strength to strength. An inquisitive little bugger, very intelligent, quite old school we've brought her up. Not really a computer games fiend, she'd much rather read a book, watch a movie, ride her bike or play guitar. And, of course, this year she's branched out into giving people lessons! Not bad for a 9 year old, right? And, we're back to normal with the whole 'me and prostitution' thing. No sleepless nights, no real worries. She's sees that as just another thing that our family - or, that I - do.
Now....Mulder, our cat? Seems like he has a bit of a girlfriend! So that's cool!
The tree is up, they're seems to be a whole shelf full of mince pies - shop bought, sadly - and the Xmas cake - not shop bought! Made by the fair hands of the ladies in the house - is all ready too.
There's been highs, there's been lows but it even's itself out, I think...
Mind you, Kaz - the wife - is still on a high from those Madonna concerts!
