Yes. There were times in my marriage when the loneliness was so soul destroying, I’d lie in my bed at night, the unhappiness was so intense, I felt a physical pressure on my chest and thought I was having a heart attack. The stress of that time, and the sheer emotion pain I felt was unbearable at times. Stress can affect you physically.
