I've been reading that more and more of us (specifically in the U.S.) are. This morning I came across a recent poll that shows 32% of us are behind in paying at least one, if not more, bills.
Please note this is not a poll just for those in the U.S., I'd love to answers from everywhere.
I'm including a simple poll in this post. Please do vote "Yes" or "No". Comment if you wish.

I sure hope not. My wife, thanks to her memory loss, manged to forget to pay about $30,000 in bills over a two years period. Just managed to clean it all up -- I hope -- and I'm taking over seeing things are paid now. But I have this fear that another unpaid account or something I've never heard of and she doesn't remember exists is gonna show up.
@SomeMichGuy Yes. I always figured I'd go first because of my health, but now I'm afraid in a sense she'll "go" before me and be like her Mom who couldn't recognize her own family.
@ChipmunkErnie This so devastating...to lose the person but see, in essence, an organic shell (sorry for the image, but *you* have seen it!)...and I can't imagine how terrifying it is for the person undergoing it, having flashes of terrible clarity along the way...
