I've been reading that more and more of us (specifically in the U.S.) are. This morning I came across a recent poll that shows 32% of us are behind in paying at least one, if not more, bills.

Please note this is not a poll just for those in the U.S., I'd love to answers from everywhere.

I'm including a simple poll in this post. Please do vote "Yes" or "No". Comment if you wish.

EDIT: Smart a$$ remarks are not needed. If you don't want to respond, don't. I'm sorry if your life sucks, but no need to take it out on others.

@SW-User It's hard to get current once you get behind. It can be done, but it isn't easy.

@Ontheroad true it didnt get bad until i.got sick a few years ago and the medical bills came in. Then i was unemployed for a little bit which racked up the credit card debt. Now i don't make much and have to somehow climb out of the hole on $13 an hour while i search for a second job

@SW-User Yeah, I wondered if the medical bills part isn't what got you behind. That happens to so many and I feel like it's a crime that people get in that situation. We need universal care or at the least, income based medical care.

@Ontheroad it's worse when you dont have insurance like me. Makes it harder to pay down. Plus when i was sick i missed a lot of work hence no income comijg in
