One would need a special can opener for me.

@CookieCrumbs I don't doubt it, I believe you because the same thing happens with me, especially at work where I don't talk even at lunch time, hahaha, should I continue to stay like this or do you think it's wrong?
@MrGomco
Talking is different for opening up.
You can be friendly but choose not to make friends.

@CookieCrumbs Well I'm friendly but hermetic, I talk...
But I only speak what is superficially necessary.
@MrGomco
Yep. I get that.

@CookieCrumbs Are you like that?
@MrGomco
I’ve perfected it.
I’m warm and friendly, but it doesn’t mean that I’m trusting everyone with everything.

It would take years of “friendship” or knowing each other for me to start opening up and allowing myself to be vulnerable to another person.

@CookieCrumbs I like to be like that.
How do you avoid personal questions at lunch time?
@MrGomco
I can talk about what meals I cooked and how delicious they are.

But I don’t have to disclose that I was crying while chopping the onions because a friend passed away.

You get what I mean.

@CookieCrumbs that's fine cause you said you try to be nice, but what do I do if someone sits at the table where I'm sitting and starts talking to me (which I don't want) but I also don't want to be rude by saying that I don't want to talk about anything with anyone, how could I achieve that?
@MrGomco
Let them talk and share if you care to be a good listener. Or just quickly make an excuse that you have to finish something at your desk.

@CookieCrumbs I think I prefer to be a listener, I don't like excuses. That's a good one, to be a listener and just pretend I do care lol.
