How important is silence to you?

Unplanned, I quit turning on the TV several weeks ago. It was gradual. I used to watch it mostly for news but the lying and propaganda ruined that. Little else was of interest. It became just background noise, then I didn't bother turning it on some of the time, less and less, until I just left it off.

I still do listen to music every day.
