Ok, so you ask why 'JoeyCat'?

I am French. Most Anglos cannot pronounce French names and words, as they cannot grip things like rolling your 'r's'. So when you say a French name you won't get it! My third personal name is Joïe, the French for Joy, something my parents felt having a daughter after two sons. To most Anglos it would be confusing to try and pronounce my name, so I started using Joey. It is how quite a few pronounced it!

Cat, is the first syllable of my family name! Easy, right!?
