Why can’t I just know everything automatically?

Since I was 15 I began a quest to gather as much information as possible. All topics, because I believe to have power, you need knowledge. I’ve purchased books on anything from chemical engineering, to demonology, Kung fu, agriculture, philosophy etc.

I will probably die hardly ever scratching the surface!

sadly it is true, as time continues marching onward knowledge, entertainment, art, ideas, discoveries, books, etc. they all continue to be made on a day to day basis.

granted not all are proverbial gems, I'm really hoping there will be little to no use or merit for committing celebrity tweets to memory in the future....but even still we will perish before getting to explore and experience the entirety of things. there will always be one more book, show, song, even sunset that we will probably want to see before we expire.

(unless someone gets working on fully mapping the human mind) and maybe then we can upload most of ourselves so we can eek out and extra few decades living in a liquid solution as a brainstem in a jar (with wifi)
Don't forget all the Harry Potter books, and everything. I mean, how important is it to know that? It could be just as important as demonology or any other fandom world. Come across someone else who really knows the subject, and it could increase your standing with that person.
@froggtongue I don’t even want to start on non fiction 💀 I’ll then have no choice but to hope reincarnation exists

You obviously don't suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect.
@uncalled4 my high school psychology teacher mentioned this and I think that’s why I’m fucked up lol I didn’t want to be a victim to this effect, so I over compensate 😭

@666Maggotz It's called having real knowledge and credibility.
