I don’t think I was ready for social media.

After my husband died last year I thought I needed to get involved and be more sociable. But I was wrong. The crude, the vulgar, the rude is just not what I expected. It’s just total disrespect by those who do it. There is no family safe place where this isn’t happening. When you can come on a post under the Christian Heading and tell God to kiss your A and it’s just ignored, no one calls then on it? That’s not letting him have his freedom. That’s letting evil walk all over you.

. Someone said yesterday in an attemp to be rude when I told him I didn’t like to see porn on a food site, that I needed to get off the internet if I was that sensitive. Well, I need the internet but I can’t accept the language on social media as”normal” . It’s not normal with my family and friends so I’m going to leave that to those who can ignore it. It quenches my spirit.

I’ve taken down posts and photos but I’ll leave the door open. I don’t like to burn bridges behind me.

Love all of you who replied to my posts. May God keep you safe and bless you.🙏🏻❤️

Yeah, social media can be both a gift and a curse, but ultimately if youve never used it, you'll be happy without it. Think about it, we all were happy without our lives without internet or cell phones, now we cant live without it. Same with social media. Ive only used facebook, but have no desire to download any other platforms. Im sorry about the passing of your husband!
