It has been a tough couple of years

Like most of us, I assume, the past couple of years have been tough. Covid and everything. We all have our stories.

On top of lockdowns my dear wife, the greatest blessing of my life, has had a replacement hip operation. Prior to this I had to watch her for a year in constant pain. That she is very stoic about it made it no easier to bear.

My daughter broke up with hubby. He had his problems, his own brother dying of cancer. This after donating a liver to him a few years back. His uncle descending into dementia. Where does it all end?

My daughter finding a place to live was difficult, but her two kiddies, our grandchildren, are a blessing. They truly are.

Other things. But as said, we all have our story. I have mental health problems, but I feel that I am getting my mojo back. Where the mojo comes from......I am not dogmatic about.

I just say "thank you" and move on.

Anyway, whatever, whoever you are, I wish you well.

Stay strong.

Thank you

fortuantely for us we are blissfully ignorant of the perils of adulthood when we are young. if you had similar experiences growing up you could play with your friends unwatched for hours as long as you were home for supper. you could walk to school alone.

even as tough as it is for kids now with the increased drugs and violence - it's still not the same as when you are older and face the Spectre - and all his friends.

Thank goodness we have distractions and memories to get us through the final years.

Hang in there dude

as my dad once told me "growing old ain't for the faint of heart" ;0
