People have impressions of Indians being dark. I would say that's a media stereotype. So here is me sharing my picture from 9 years ago. My eyes r brown and these r contacts. This is a no make up professional photography done by my junior who wanted to become a photographer and build his portfolio

Western or Eastern media? Because they depict fairer skin in Eastern media and darker in Western. Both are accurate because there's a spectrum of different skin tones. I just don't like the preference over one look but this comes as no surprise

@NickiHijab Ooo. Didn’t know there was a difference, but that totally doesn’t surprise me. It seems we create narratives that support what we already think. People don’t like nuance, because it forces them to think. And I think people are intellectually lazy, honestly.
