People have impressions of Indians being dark. I would say that's a media stereotype. So here is me sharing my picture from 9 years ago. My eyes r brown and these r contacts. This is a no make up professional photography done by my junior who wanted to become a photographer and build his portfolio

You where pretty then.. Oh an i like brown eyes so you don't need contacts..

I guess you are northern Indian then? I know that India is like Europe in that there are many different peoples there..

@SW-User West Coast Maharashtra.. It has had contact with the west for thousands of years.. The Romans even traded there.

@SW-User Did i say anything other then what i said? No.. Why put words into my mouth.. Trading ports always have communities from countries they are trading with.. And if you have been trading with people for thousands of years guess what? these people are absorbed into the local population..

And Yes i know a thing or two about the History of trade from the Arabs and India and when the Roman empire took of Egypt they had ports on the Red sea where they started to trade directly with India.. They have found plenty of Roman coins in temples in India where locals have donated these gold coins to the temple after sourcing them from trading with traders from the Roman Empire..
