No. Now I just put my worst foot forward first. If they can put up with my bullshit in the beginning, then things can only get better. For once, someone will have to earn ME. If they don't want to put forth some effort other than shaking their ass, I'm good the way things are. 🙂
Also, I won't be put under a constant one way red flag microscope to determine if I qualify for someone's grand company. Someone who may be far worse an a-hole than I.

@RogueLoner Maybe that's the perfect plan.
RogueLoner · M
@LadyBronte Not a "plan" really. Life is just easier that way. 😉

@RogueLoner Only problem with your idea is that they will STILL put you under a microscope not knowing you put your worst foot forward. Outside of that I like it.
RogueLoner · M
@KYLakeDiver Just "dare" to put THEM under a microscope and watch how fast they ditch you. Problem solved. 😉

@RogueLoner Ah... cool! 🤙

@RogueLoner Actually not a bad way.
I was never foiled by the 'rough around the edges' in people, I like it. Because it's the underlying that means the most, not the surface pretenses.

As I've said before, to find the gold, you have to wash away the dirt. That takes some effort. Don't put forth some effort, you get worthless sand and dirt.
Magenta · F
@RogueLoner I love that analogy!
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@RogueLoner Laughs. I wouldn't care about that. Either you like me for who I am with all my insecurities, failings and quirkiness or you don't. *shrug* One of my failings is I always used to expect everyone to be as real as I am and mostly they just aren't. Huge lesson learned there recently.
