I've been living in middle America for almost 10 years now. I'm originally from San Francisco. People are definitely more laid back and normal where I live now. And more courteous. Unlike the bubble of ultra gentrified stuck up neurotic craziness that is San Francisco. Only things I miss are the fog/cool summers and Mission district burritos.
