A picture of 'me before I got fat' has great appeal. Yet the idea of a natural equivalent to afterlife has zero appeal. Would you say that SW is mainly for a low brow, short attention span crowd?

it depends on who and how you're dealing with people. and sw has raced towards the bottom with some of its decisions, the people it has managed to attract, and those if has failed to retain.

@stound I don't blame SW or its users. And some topics are even too intellectually advanced for deeper sites like Reddit and Quora.
@SW-User I don't think it's reasonable to expect scientific papers here, but I do think a good number of the decisions have led this place to be much more like a jerry springer episode than some of the alternative ways it could be.
