how do you overcome the fear of illness & death

i have a crippling fear of getting serious illness and my own mortality; death, maybe it's because i'm middle aged now, but i'm terrified of death and illness....i have my christian faith, but it is not strong enough to remove the fear i have in my heart.

does anyone truly know how you overcome the fear of illness & death?

You're kinda young to think that. I'm in my 60s and share ur fears. How to overcome? I don't know. When such thoughts arise, I say "here we go again" and distract myself...go for a walk or focus on work.
