how do you overcome the fear of illness & death

i have a crippling fear of getting serious illness and my own mortality; death, maybe it's because i'm middle aged now, but i'm terrified of death and illness....i have my christian faith, but it is not strong enough to remove the fear i have in my heart.

does anyone truly know how you overcome the fear of illness & death?

Shawshank Redeption said it best. "Get busy living, or get busy dying" In my case I am too busy living right now to concern myself with dying. That can look after itself..😷
